Default Cancel ESP?

Anybody know if you can cancel your ESP and get a prorated refund? I bought it due to the engine issues I've read about on the 96" motors but am considering some motor work that would pretty much render it worthless.

If you're going to do internal mods, you may as well drop the esp. The warranty with these bikes is almost as much of a curse as it is reassurance. To me, it's a coin toss.

I just canceled mine a couple weeks ago. Don't think they will warranty much after all the mods this winter.

Yes you can I did it once the mods set in also. Head to the dealer fill out the paperwork and wait for your return it does take a little while but i was fairly surprised how much I got back make you really realize how much you pay for it.

You can call up the # on your card & they can tell you how much money you'll get back. Then go to the dealership & get the paper work & fill it out. My dealership sent the paper work in for me. The ESP company will refund the dealership & they will send you a check. Mine took about 6 weeks

Talk to your dealer first. If you financed the bike along with the ESP and you cancel it, they will send the refund to the bank and apply it to the payoff of the loan.
