I know this may not belong on this forum, but I posted it on the panhead section and it really does not seem to get a lot of attention as this section.
My roadies dad has a '57 PanHead and the headlight is rather dim and it runs on 6v. He is wondering if anyone else has had this problem and what did they do to fix it other than replace the headlight. He is older and the light does seem to throw more of a yellow beam than white. He is trying to make it brighter other than going 12v. Any ideas? Thanks.

Is the generator working? Voltage regulator?
Is the bulb actually 6v, or did someone accidentally put in a 12v somewhere along the way?
