harley re conditioned evo motors
my 93 electra glide has just died on me. harley has a deal now ,you take your bike to a dealer,they remove motor and ship to wisconsin and send rebuilt back to dealer for install.comes with 1 year warranty. any one heard of this deal or know someone that has made the deal? please advise TONY

That's nothing new I has my '93 ultras motor remanned in '04. The thing that I thought about was for about the same $$$, you can get an after-market motor with more HP, torque, and a longer warrenty. Remember if you had any performance parts in your old motor you will lose them. What you get back is a box stock motor, with your vin numbers on it. They will finance the motor but told me I have to give them the title until its paid off. I paid cash.,

You'll probably come out a lot cheaper to fix your motor. Explain to us what kind of problems you're having. Evo's are not hard to work on.
