#300515 is the Khrome Werks +2 sweepers.I got mine from Dennis Kirk for $84 shipped to the door. http://www.denniskirk.com/jsp/produc...uId=595862&mmy=

I bought a 6" over clutch cable since Barnett doesn't make a 4" over.

The 6" over cable works perfect with nothing binding in behind the fairing. All other stock control wires and brake line work with the KW sweepers and they fit me perfect at 6" 2" tall.

It takes a good 4 hours to switch the bars out by yourself. I spent about 5 on mine yesterday but I blanketed the inside of the outer fairing with sound mat while I had it apart.

Mark the TBW wires for orientation before you remove them from molex connector.
There is nothing really hard about the install. Placing things out of the way carefully so they don't bang against your paint while you're moving the inner fairing to mount the new bars in position is a PITA by yourself though. You then have to set on the bike with the inner fairing back in place to nail down the final position. You can tighten the bar clamp enough to hold the bars in place temporarily with a 1/4" allen wrench but you have to lift the inner fairing back up to get a torque wrench in there to properly tighten the bolts to 20 ft lbs.
Having a friend available would definitely help.

lionsm13 - Thanks for your reply but I wouldn't have started this thread if I had been able to find the information I was looking for. But I still appreciate your participation in this thread. Old Bones - Thank you for the info on the size chart. Scj - Thank you for the helpful tips.

Trying to get the right bars is tough, I've read of some guys having a collection in thier garage, that's something I didn't want. I just put on KW sweepers +2", they are working for me. The dealers aren't much help in the choosing part, mine ordered them at a great price (under $70), maybe an indy would be better for help in choosing? I can see why the dealers charge so much (not excusing them for how much, just saying I can understand) because it took me about 5 hours. If your looking for bars where the grip section is more in-line, your probably gonna want to look into apes. The sweepers are great compared to stock, but there is still some angle there. As a side note: put your arms out in front of you like your riding, pertend your holding the bars, notice how your hands are fairly straight, maybe even just slightly angled, if it helps, pick up a piece of conduit to simulate a set of bars, that might help on your choice. BTW, the KW sweepers may have some small imperfections in the chrome, nothing that bothered me, the WO 575 and 577 seemed to have a perfect finish, I just didn't want to spend that kind of money not really knowing the results. Only other thing is to look at other bikes and ask the owners what they are using, most will let you sit on them and get a feel for 'em. Having the mirrors on the fairing is a whole different situation, can't help you with that. As already suggested, a search on this forum will yield many hours of reading enjoyment.

Thanks Geezer. btw I have found the chubby size chart to go along with the stock size chart that was listed a few posts ago and allowed me to do side by side size of the listed measurements but of course they still do not list angle of the wrists...so it's still more research lol btw http://wild1inc.com/chubbydimensions.html is the Chubby size chart.

Default go with WO575

I did my research a year ago and ended with the Wild one WO575. The 575 are perfect for me and no change of cables. I re routed the clutch cable and also the TBW wire connection block, both were easy.

My tip to you is to use the wild one measurments chart for the HD stock handlebars when comparing. I found that HD has a different measurement? and if you use the HD one (rise, pullback) to compare to other bars you do not get true difference. In the picture:

The top bar is stock.
The Second bar is the Chubby 575.
The Third is the HD wheel barrow pullback bars.

I was just gonna ask if anyone had some comparison pics of the wo575. or a pic with rider on the bike and the wo575. Thanks

Here are a couple of pictures of +2 sweepers I put on yesterday. If you want internal wire it will be tough on these. I bought them intending to run inside but changed my mind once I saw how tight. Go with 1 1/4" if that is what you looking to do (imo) I like the angle on these alot. Good luck.

Okay, I run the +2 sweepers on my 08 and love them. Here is a complete list with pn#'s that you would need should you go that route:

Drag Specialties 0601-0841 $79.95 Khromwerks 300515's
tranny side cover gasket 36805-06 $5.15
clutch cable 38649-08 $33.99
and I'd suggest changing at least your two lower clamp bolts to 12600003 @ $1 each under service bulletin M1289
