This is all sounds good, but what is the point of having a painted bike then if you can not see the nice shiney paint on the bike.

My bike is not driveway jewelry and gets ridden 130 miles round trip to work everyday on the highway. I'll do whatever it takes to keep the rock chips from happening short of leaving it in the garage. Bras come off easy enough for around town riding and bike nights.

I have the bra on mine and take it off occasionally for cleaning, haven't had any problems with the bra hurting the paint. Better then letting the fairing get covered in Florida love bugs.

Nice looking bike.......

Just my opinion, but I think the fairing bras look ugly, I would rather clean off bugs thanks

I ordered from Santa Fe HD... local dealer & competitive price.

On rainy nights I like to go into the garage and just gaze at my scoots for hours... only discovering a dent in the sheet metal creates more stress than finding a new nick or chip in the paint.

Since I've been riding my CUSE2 like a daily rider as of late, I hate the idea of beating it up going back and forth to work. If I want to cruise it downtown or heaven forbid - go Friday night bar-hopping to impress who knows who, I can always remove them.

I think the key for the fairing, tank, and bag covers is that they need to be removed regularly and the underlying surface be cleaned and kept waxed. That has worked on the cars I've owned in the past - this is my first scoot with a fairing and hard bags, figure the same principles apply. I am a little worried about the tank bra but it really can't do anymore damage to the tank paint then what has happened already. It would seem that since the opening in the tank bra faces forwards that the chance for dirt to get caught and collect around the seams is higher - therefore it will need to be removed and cleaned a lot more often than say the fairing cover.

Tank Bra? Keep the bike perfect for the next owner, I don't think so...

I tried the HD bra, it is a BIG pain in the azz to install, & honestly looks like Do do, I went with the clear 3M sheet, problem solved.
