Default can it be done?

Hey guys hopefully someone has tried this already. I want to get a Vance and Hines 2~1 pro pipe chrome for my 2011 road glide, but want to keep the dual look. So here's what I'm thinking...can I keep the under pipe mounted (obviously not connected) and buy a pro pipe slip on to have the same look on the other side. A ghost pipe would more or less be mounted the same way...right? I could find nothing with the search feature.

Thunderheader makes a setup like that. I think D&D might also but don't think V&H does yet.

Thanks for the reply, but I really want the pro pipe for cost sakes. Thunderheader and fat cats are to costly with the ghost pipes. I can get the Vance and Hines set up the way I mentioned for roughly $700

you will get used to the look. plus you can't see them while your riding anyhow, you will love the pro pipe.

Default Pro Pipe

I installed the pro pipe on my 08 street glide, and like the sound and look. I would like to make it a little bit quieter. I tried the quite baffle, but it changed the tone to a higher pitch. Has anyone had any luck making the stock baffle a little bit quieter. Just wondering. Thanks

I think you would have to make a mirror image rear bracket for the left side pipe. Then cut the crossover pipe short on the right side.
Theres also the mid mounting tab on the ProPipe that you would have to address.
Sounds like too much work and money.

I had a ProPipe on my old Road Glide and the single look did not bother me.

once you get hooked on the sound from the 2-1 and the awesome performance you'll soon forget all about the true dual look.
