Chrome flake off

Have a 06 SG with spoke front. have noticed the chrome has started to flake off on the hub spindle. rear is fine. Very faithful ( **** ) about cleaning. Any body else have this?

Have it on my 2010. I'm getting the wheels replaced under warranty.

Mine also. You would think that there would be some $20 a bottle official Harley cream to prevent the embarrassment of hub chrome flaking. Someone this last weekend noticed: "Dude the chrome is flaking off your front hub". Unbelievable.
