I didn't think they made a "2009 FLTRX Roadglide Custom", I thought that model started in 2010.
They did make a "2009 FLTR Roadglide" but not the "X" "Custom" version.
The "X" "Custom" version has the lower 12" Street Glide rear shocks and Street Glide seat.
Texas Fat By is correct. The FLTRX came out in 2010. It is similat to the '10 Street Glide, except for the fairing of course (18'' front wheel, black/alum 5 spoke wheels, rear end lowered by 1'', low profile seat with perforations in the leather or vinyl, tail light/turn signals combined, FLTRX o the air cleaner cover, 2-1 exhaust). Those are most of the stock features of a '10 RGC.
If you're looking at an '09 Road Glide(FLTR) it should have the 28 spoke black/alum "knuckles" wheels, same suspension as a Road King, a big tail light with turn signals on either side, dual exhaust.
@010 and 2011 are both equipped with a catalytic converter in the headpipe and they use the new 12mm heated oxygen senors. I personally would get the 09 if the price difference is good. The cat equipped exhaust is just too hot.Duane5157
No fltrx in 09 . The angle of the fairing changed in 2010 along with the intro of the fltrx. 2009 has a taillight and longer shocks. 2009 does not have a cat in the headpipe and does not have the tri bar light.
Also has different wheels.
My picture shows my 09. Added street glide wheels, tri bar light and fascia.
