v-twin engine

i recently repaired my 2004 electra glide. replaced tensioners, ran fine for 100 miles then oil started coming out my breather (carb cover). does any know what could possibly wrong? my initial thought was piston rings, but bike only has 40k miles onit. am now thinking that maybe i got the breather baffle gaskets installed wrong. will tear bike down soon, just like to know if these seem plausible or should i be looking for another area. has anyone had this happen? if so what was wrong and how was it fixed? thanks for your time . riley

Did you change the oil pump o-rings? My 04 had a pinched o-rng after an indy changed which caused wet sumping and that could be your problem?

thanks for the tip. did replace o-rings guess will have to tear down and do a post mortem. im learning as i go.

how much oil, and how hard did you run it? if you overfill the engine, and run it hard, you can make a pretty decent mess....

when i do an oil change, i shoot for just above halfway on the hash marks..
