I just got back from having Dave at JD's tune my bike. The engine is a out of the box 120r with a bosszilla,58 throttle body,5.3 injectors,se aircleaner assy, and tts tuner. Very smooth power and a joy to drive. It made 130 hp with 123 tq sae.
My fuel mileage has been 38 mpg on adverage so far. Im going to lean it out a bit in the cruise range and see if I can pick up a few mpg's on the highway.
I don't understand why bikers are different than diesel enthusiasts. I used to go to dyno competitions every month with my '03 and '07 Dodge Cummins diesels. We used uncorrected numbers, and ran in direct (1:1).
On a Harley, that would be a top-gear run. An uncorrected run gives you what your bike did, on that day, no BS. No skewed numbers up or down based on correction factors.
Of course, I understand people who aren't blessed with great air would be bummin, but uncorrected is uncorrected. It is what the bike made. Period.
Anyway, nice numbers, can't wait to get my 120R...
Your Dodge diesels are turbocharged, they create their own atmosphere. Recording elevation, barometric pressure, humidity and air temp for a correction factor would really skew the results, unlike a naturally aspirated engine. As previously mentioned in this thread, top gear is usually an overdrive gear.
