THANKS, for all your replies!!!
It's cheap insurance to me and makes sense for anyone who is keeping their ride for a long time. Too much electrical, etc, etc, to go wrong with a touring rig. I was just looking for a dealer who will give me some type of discount for this extended service plan.
Thanks again to all,
YELLOWBIRD
Yo Paul! Doesn't Southside offer anything? I thought theirs was for the life of the bike.
Never heard of a dealer selling it for 20% off?? Buy the ESP for sure...even at full price.
Then you haven't shopped around - Pay what you want - I prefer to save the $$$ - its the Same policy and it can be had for less. My dealer said the same - I showed him my policy after I got it - he just smiled.
I knew what I was getting into when I bought a Harley. Ive wrenched on cars my whole life. Really dont feel like doing it with this. Sure I could do a lot of the work myself but when it comes down to it I really dont feel like it anymore. Now Ill do the brakes and fluids.... the easy stuff. But any more Ill take it in. I personally would not want to spend the time tracking down an electrical problem.
What did you guys pay anyway? I think it was $15 or 1600 for me.
