Default Whats the difference????????????

I ordered a front and rear tire from Dennis Kirk, the Dunlop Elite 3's and I noticed when the order confirmation came , it said both were rear tires...

I loooked at the Dennis Kirk Website, and noticed that there is a MT90HB-16 front, AND a MT90HB-16 rear. They both have the same measurements, but they have different part numbers... WTF ??????

This is for an '08 Elec Glide UC.

i believe the difference between the front and rear dunlop elite 3's tires, is that the tread pattern run in opposite direction of each other when you buy the dedicated front and rear tire. For example, the rear tire tread pattern looks like this when the bike is moving forward is this >>>>>>>. my front tires tread pattern looks like this <<<<<<<<<<.

BTW most people on this site with a 08 bike bought the MU90B16 for the rear its only .06 inch wider than stock

All the major bike tyre brands make distinct front and rear tyres. The old ones you have will be different. Have you phoned Dennis Kirk? If they have indeed sent you two rear tyres they should sort that out for you.

Call em, I buy tires from them all the time, and they are very good to cover any mistakes that they make. They'll take care of you.

I am running on the MU on my RK. When they fix the problem I would get the larger tire.

I just bought 2 new Michelin Commanders from Rocky Mountain ATV for $59.99/ea. Gonna put 'em on the RKC next time I need new tread. They only have "rears" so I bought one MU and one MT; gonna have the front "rear" mounted bass-ackward when it comes time. Yeah, my inner CAS* just couldn't resist such a bargain, and they're blackwalls, too!
