Default D&D factcat fitment??

Hi all, I purchased an 07' ultra that already had a D&D 2-1 installed. I finally got out for my first ride of the season the other day and I thought my lifters were really noisy or something else in the bottom end..... On closer inspection I realized the rear brake lever is tight against the exhaust and vibrates, clank - clank - clank. I also noticed the lever isn't retracting all the way as the rear brake light will not go off?? Anyone else have a similar issue to this? The bike is going in for engine mods this weekend so I'm hoping my mechanic can sort this out.

I've got the Fatcat on my '07 Road King and there is no clearance problem with the brake lever. It is a close fit, but no rubbing of any kind.

Ran into a similar problem last year.No instructions so I had mounted the tab on the bottom of the tranny bracket. The exaust was angled down a little, not really noticable until I rode it and felt the exaust hitting the floor board when I hit a bump.Moved it to the top of the bracket which leveled the pipes out clearing everything.

The Fat Cat for the '09 and later is the Boss Fat Cat. The Fat Cat for his '07 comes with a tranny mount and the tab from the pipe does go on the bottom unlike your Boss Fat Cat, which uses the stock mount and the tab goes on the top.

I run a Fat Cat on my '07 Streetglide and it fits like a glove. Could the pipe be a Boss Fat Cat installed on an '07? Does the rear header swoop out like the pic of the '07 Road King? The Boss doesn't swoop out like that.
