I have always said, if you buy a jap bike you put a harley mech. out of business.

YEP!!! Amen to that !!! Even if some (most) parts are made overseas,
it's simple high school economics; BUY AMERICAN !!!

Take all these Toyota Prius' and Honda Aaacord's and Lexus'
and Goldwings and yamaha ha's and all the rest & blow em back to
J-frickin-pan !!!!

I hope the OEM ECM isn't the problem because I have 16,000 miles on my 2010 Road King Classic and she is bone stock as far as power goes.

Then it happened to a guy on here on a demo ride, that bike had 62 miles on it.

My Harley dealer said the MOCO had a fix but since my showed no codes they couldn't replace any parts. They said it had something to do with the ECM ports....hopefully mines fixed but with the frickin' rain I've only been able to ride it 300 miles since I got it worked on

It is the corrosion setting up between the male and female contacts at the connector interfaces. Soon as I can get my wife to go through HER filing system

I will note what the service information stated aside from cleaning and applying dielectric grease to the connections.

Hmmm bringing my bike in for 1k service. Wonder if dealer will look at this if I ask? No symptoms yet other than it seems to be taking a couple of secs longer to crank when cold?

Well if you don't have the symptoms you may want to wait until your next scheduled service or you might mention that you've heard about a problem and see what they do.
