HD knows this is happening. If you are in Warranty make them fix it, if not, it is not a difficult fix if you can do your own work. Check out the page vtwinbob or look at the thread noted early in this discussion. Good luck I just went through it.
2101, 1511 are being fixed via a new download into the ecm from the factory. If you get these codes, ask your dealer to call the moco as the download is not available for general use yet.
Went to pick the bike up that Friday afternoon, shop was busy, pins were not replaced, a tec put it back together with a little grease of sort, bike has run fine since.
Mine did the same thing. The fix was replacing the wiring harness that goes under the fairing. If it does it again, pull over & shut down for 10 or 15 seconds. Then fire it up again, and mine ran fine ----- maybe only for another mile before I had to do it again, or maybe for a month before it does it again.
