Detailed my 2011 SG today
Finally got aroung to taking the seat off back rest and rider rest side panels and washed and waxed it with that ice.....SWEET but the tank and the side covers are taking a bit of a beating from the stock seat.....true it cant be seen with the seat on but its there. Tried to buff it a bit but its still there not too upset but the ride takes my mind off it
Just ride it, nothing out of the norm with the wear.

No way I know of the clean up the satin finishes.
On a gloss bike, it just takes rubbing compund in GENTLE circular strokes, with a good buffing and a coat of pure caranuba wax.
