Does anyone do this?
Ever been at a bike rally , Dice run , Poker run , etc. and of course everybody looks over each others bike to see what they might want to add next?
You've seen it , a guy says , what's that thingy right there? and the guy with the bike says , ya know , one of them there chrome whatsis things from the dealer.
I don't know if anyone else does this , but ....
I keep the end tab label from every add-on or accesory that I have purchased for my Glide in a zip-lock bag in my left (most used) saddlebag.
I also keep a little paper pad and a pen so I can give them the part number , or I can use for a discription for myself later if they don't know what it's called after the show.
Most riders will tell you if they're happy or got burned on a part that they purchased.
Most of my purchases have been .
Hey what's that?
What's it called?
Does it work?
How much did it cost?
Do you feel like it was a good value?
Then I had to figure the rest out myself.
Just thought I would share idea with you guys , and see if anyone else does this.
Good riding.
Mick

I keep the labls that have the parts numbers on them. Not the prices. Don't care how much I spent as long as I like the look. Just want to know the part number in case I need to replace it later on.
