Default tips

Long, they are just slip on.

Take the bags off
Take the two bolts holding the pipe on
Slide the bolt bracket to the front of the bike a little.
Insert the bracket into the tips
Slide tips on putting bracket between the two bolt holes.
Add anti-sieze to bolt
Straighten tips and tighten bolt.
Repeat other side.
Slide bolt bracket rearward
Reinstall bolts holding pipe
Reinstall bags.

Still healing from mine, and the chunk it took out was through heavy jeans ...

That sounds simple enough that even I could manage that! I think I will have to put these on my wish list now... They look great!

Nice improvement. In addition to watching out for your leg as you walk by, be careful backing up to a curb when parking.

I know this is a fairly old thread, but, if you are still around newbie, how are the tips holding up?

I'm getting ready to try a pair of stock mufflers to reduce the sound, but I hate the thought of giving up the tails!

Just installed the Kuryakyn fishtail ends on my stock exhaust. Took all of 15 minutes. Be interesting to see how they hold up.

Damn you, I thought I had purchased everything I needed, but they do look great and my shins are already all bruised. I'll have to add them to the bucket list now when I install my Jackpot 2-1-2 in 4 more weeks.
