Yes, the current bolt that's spring-loaded. How do you get that out out of the bracket? Do you just cut it out/off? It's too wide at the threads to back all the way out of the bracket.
I just sent you a private message as I don't want to answer you wrong.
Here's a picture of the SeatSecure on a Fatboy, though, if that helps.
I fiited my kickstand shoe the other day and this is a great product. Only thing I had to do was file down some of the weld on the stand to install the pin as it wouldnt go all the way through. No big deal and well worth the effort. I wish they had them available for my lady's sportser.
We wish we could make it for the Sportsters, too. Haven't totally given up, but can't seem to stop them from hitting the bike when in the up position.
We have found that the weld issue on the 2007 and later, while not with every later model jiffy stand, has still been an issue. We can consistently make our KickShoes the same on each product, but the weld bead seems to vary some. You're fine with dealing with it that way - just make sure you coat it with a sealer or clear finger nail polish. And meanwhile, we are continuing to make adjustments on the KickShoe to avoid any customers even having an issue.
Thanks for posting such a positive review.
And don't forget that we're running the photo contest for previous customers! So send pics with our products on your bike!
Ordered my Brukus seat secure and saddle bag secure. Ordered On Friday. Shipped on Saturday and got in the mail on Monday. Never had that happen before. Excellent shipping and two great products. Keep up the good work, Brukus
Got my seat and saddlebag secure kit today. Great stuff, super fast shipping. I always worried about the factory saddlebag securing system failing and seeing my bag go tumbling down the road. No more worries now. I also don't have to worry to much about my PC-V getting stolen with the secure seat bolt. Thank Brukus, I'll be sharing with my HOG Chapter people.

Hey man! Thanks for the good word. We love happy customers.
Got my saddlebagsecures and kickshoe today Great service and quick delivery
Thanks again

Agreed. I got two saddlebagsecures and installed on both bikes in under an hour easily.
I also got a set of Harley Fender Seat Security Screws for both bikes and was less pleased with that. Yes, it is more secure with the special head, but there was no lock washer like the star washer that is stock. Instead there was a rubber and nylon washer and instructions to simply use whichever you wanted.
I tried getting the star washer off the stock screw but that was a pain and turns out the new screws are not as wide, so wouldnt engage the star lock thingies (tech term) anyway. I wound up getting a stainless steel flat washer and lock washer to secure it.
Brukus Motorcycle Parts is working to secure your bike - and thus your biking lifestyle. SaddlebagSecure was our first product and this video shows why. For $25 you can prevent this on your Harley or your Victory Cross Bike and prevent the bags flying off traveling down the road. Don't worry about a thief seeing this - they already know! Video Showing How Easily Saddlebags Are Stolen - and this by a NON-thief!
Can't believe I missed a Brukus post!!! I started with the SaddlebagSecure kit, Then the ShieldSecure followed by the SeatSecure and fender security screw. The shopping world would be a much better place if all customer service was as good as Brukus. Their products do a great job of keeping your parts on your bike and not is the hands of a thief!!!!
Brukus is a good vendor that makes a good product. Totaled my 09 RK, only part of one saddle bag still on the bike was the part held on by the saddlebag secure! They replaced them free!
Here are a couple of customer feedbacks from the last week or so:
"Your product, Saddlebag Secure, is making me money. When I bet my friends that I can remove their bags while locked, I win. I give the money back and then tell them to spend it on your products. Great product, fast shipping...just great overall!"
"Saddlebag secure kit arrived on Saturday and fitted to my Road King Classic the same day. Beautifully made little kit of quality materials which, with the help of clear instructions, fitted straight on within five minutes. Not only does it improve the bags' resistance to theft ( particularly in the UK where I would imagine your devices are still quite rare) but it also allows complete confidence on the move, over the original, rather "hit and miss", factory arrangement. I look forward to your further developments for my motorcycle and wish your company the very best for the future."
Regards,
Mark B
