In a few hours, will take my '08 Dyna back to the dealer and ride back home on my new FLHR. As much as I loved the Dyna, now that I am retired and want to do some touring the appeal of a more comfortable (bad back issues) long haul bike for my wife and me, along with cruise control, brought me to the Road King. Have been lurking in this part of the forum for a while and had a number of questions answered just by reading along.
Am looking forward to the new ride and will update my picture once I actually get it. But, for now, it just looks like all of the other black Road Kings out there, with one exception- I'll be sitting on it! The first box from M&M will get here shortly (I hope), and the changes will start.
i had two dynas prior to my current ride, a streetglide and i know that the touring is far more comfortable. you're going to really love your roadking. that's going to be so much more comfortable for you and the wife.
