Well, the truck came today and dropped off my newly redone seat shipped back from Mean City Cycles, and all I can say is WOW! Huge improvement! Wife still hasnt been on her section of the seat, but I will tell you my section is a great improvment! I got moved back and down and it is still comfortable!
Lastly since I got this upgrade, Im looking for a used HD Brawler seat for my 08 Street Glide if you have one and dont use it shoot me a message!
glad to hear that. i just sent a new 2011 street glide seat to them for my 09 sg. it set much better than the 09 seat but being a shorty like myself i wanted to have them do so work on it to get me down even more.. ill use it for 2 up short trips and the reach when the wife wants to go on the long rides. danny gray craddle for solo. glade you like your seat, this will be the second seat they have done for me, ride safe.
Dan, I paid extra for their express job, meaning that as soon as they receive the seat they work on it. So I sent it to them it took roughly 4 days via ups, and then they called the day after they received it, and informed me that they were done and would send it back Fed Ex. I received it 2 days after they sent it.
And actually since they have a sechedule the turn around time is actually very quick! But I would call Allen and verify it with him! But I will tell you that I'm happy with the work they did, and the comfort is 100% better!
MCC does an awesome job & gets many kudos on numerous forums. My turn-around was ~1-week from time seat left my house & cost was included w/mod. Price differs for every seat type so best to call them & discuss.
Great company, great service. Both my wife and myself are very pleased with the work they did. Can not comment on shipping time, got mine done at one of the rallys they attend.
