I got one too; only rode for a couple of miles yesterday to test it out, I can actually read the display without my glasses on, sucks getting old. But now we can afford cooler toys!!!
Florida Swamp Yankee I see you have a 2007, i have read in the catalog that the gear indicators don't work on the 07.
As a result of different Original Equipment capabilities, the following exceptions apply: Gear position not available on ’04-’07 models, Range function not available on ’04-’06 XL, ’04-’08 DynaŽ,
Can you confirm whether this is the case. I have the same bike as you and would really like to install this speedo and would just like to know what to expect. Thanks, Jeff.

I had one on my 07 Softail custom. The gear indicator worked on mine although it said it would not. May not be your case.
I had one on my 09' Fatboy and it did everything well and just took about 10 minutes to install. I took it off when I traded it away and I'm not sure how it will work out if someone buys it. I assume it will just retain the mileage I took it off with.

Sorry to disappoint you, but that speedo/tach is married to your Fat Boy and wont work with a different bike.
