Default Get A Grip?

Ordered the new Get A Grip hand grips for my 2010 Road King.

Anyone else get a set of these yet? How hard are they to put on? How hard are the originals to take off? My dealer says that the originals are press fit on, no glue.

Got the grips installed on May 2nd Check out other photos in my post on page #2!!!

Your dealer is lying to you. The left grip is glued on and the right grip is held in place by the right switch housing.

I put the Get-a-Grips on my 2010 UC a couple of weeks ago. Stock left grip is glued. Used a very small screwdriver to release it. Right grip is held by the switch housing. The new grips aren't glued - both held by the switch housings. Spent about 20 mins trying to get the left one off. After that, the rest of the job took about 10 mins. MAKE SURE YOU PUT A SPACER BETWEEN THE BRAKE LEVER AND BRACKET as per the instructions. Like the new grips.

That is not the case. The grips are held on by the control boxes on both sides.

No glue. They slide on and off real easy. Changing grips takes 10 minutes.

Hmm, my 09 stock left grip was glued on.

I looked at the Get A Grip and it says that it doesn require glue. Nice looking grips, I wished Id seen them two months ago. Look very much like the avons I put on. But I had to glue the left grip on.

My left (stock) grip was glued. A heat gun, or hair dryer works pretty well for loosening it up though.

Put the new Get a Grips on the wife's ride. 20 min job max if dealing with the TBW bikes...a bit longer if you are installing the dual cable version since that takes a bit more time.

I had no intention of reusing the stock grips so on the left side that was glued I just cut it off. 30 sec job.

The new grips are not glued.

For the money they are an excellent grip. My PM Grips have a better feel to them, but they do cost a bunch more. Just looking at the bikes side by side the Get a Grips look just as good. If you buy them discounted somewhere I would say excellent product.

Got my new grips installed tonight.

Cut off the left and cleaned off the adhesive then slid the new grip right on.

Right grip also went on real easy. Had to shim the brake lever but no problem.

These grips look and feel awesome. Can't wait to go for another ride!

I am looking at these also and we all know we are about the deal/best price... So where did you order them from and what pricing have you gotten. Zanottis is cheap but shipping on 1 item is a killer from there.
