Run it low on gas + park it in the sun (unless you live in Cleveland where sun is as scarce as Superbowl rings). Then saw it off with fishing line or waxed dental floss.

I find that PB Blaster disolves the 3M adhesive better than anything without hurting the paint. Just pulled it away without touching the paint. Give it a little time to work, repeat, clean everything up with soap & water. Good luck!

I've always liked the '61 badge. Never seems to go out of style! Nice!

had that on my 06 fast..looks good and it's not very common.. who wants an emblem from 1961 lol

anybody have a pic looking down on the tank? along the top of the emblem where the gap is suppose to be?

I would never use WD-40 on a nice paint job! Floss or fishing string & a little heat. I clean up as much as i can by hand then use turtle wax to Remove Sticker Residue & polish out.
