I just ordered a set of Drag Specialties wind deflectors with skulls on them for $69 from my local Harley dealer. They should be in this week. My sister's fiance has a set of Harley deflectors on his Electra Glide cop bike and he loves them.

I had the fairing deflectors on my last 05 EGC, it's helped a little, where I really get blasted from the wind is when I put my feet up on the crashbar pegs. it's almost had so see because of my head getting buffeted around. I put a fork baffle in, didn't help much. I'm thinking about getting the front fork wind deflectors, hate spending another $80 for nothing.

I just added them and like them in the cold weather. I have the adjustables and got them from a member here. Post in the WTB. I am sure I got them for less than 70.00

Default I made some this weekend

Homemade wind deflectors.
I'm still torn.
They reduced all the updraft.
They reduced the buffeting from the windscreen.
They reduced the wind on my legs.
They don't chatter or flex at all.

BUT. The wind on my lower right leg is different than before, so now my right pants leg creeps up with the wind. Much less wind, but it catches it funny. I have a small clip on my left shoelace to pantsleg, and will need one for the right now.
Total cost about $20. A Lexan piece and some angle aluminum and rivets from Home Depot.
I made a template and took a jigsaw, and two hours and an alcoholic beverage later I was set.
If I didn't have to accommodate the crash bars with the forks turned all the way the result may have been different. They don't look too bad I don't think. Not too bad for a first try.

I own a 2010RKC .I just put on the fork wind deflectors made by Harley then took it for a ride down the freeway at 70mph. No doubt they do the trick. It was a windy day and with those on at 70mph made a huge difference. Not too sold on the looks but I didn't buy 'em for that. When installing the deflectors, they touched the crash bar at far right and left,so I adjusted the light bar a smidge and all is good. They will stay on.
