Default Wiring question

I have a 2010 street glide and I would like to put red neon strip lights under each saddle bags and have them work as brake light but also like to use as running light once in awhile. I need help on how to wire them to brake light but also be able to use as running lights through acc. switch. Is this possible?

I know this isn't answering your question but i have a Badlander run, turn, brake module and i added LED's on the saddle bags and put LED's in the OEM lights . The Badlander is compatible with the alarm system on my 09 SG.

Ya, it's possible. But it's the some times what to work as something else that's the complicated part. You could use a single pole double throw switch to change which feed (brake or running) powers the neons.
