Default Battery Purchase?

Gonna put a new battery on my 06 ultra and wondering why the heck batteries had doubled in price almost in the last few years? Anybody got any recommendations for a new battery and where to buy?

My buddy went out last week to get a new battery for his 2003 FLHTCU and was quoted $160. He ended up paying over $20k as his new battery included a 2011 Ultra Limited

Not for what the dealers want. Just find a Deka dealer. Same battery without the extra 50 or 60 bucks for the bar and shield imprint.

If you have a Batteries Plus store in your area check them out. Much less than an HD dealer and it's the same Deka battery.

I second the Batteries Plus. Better price and 40 more CCA then the HD.
