2011 StreetGlide price question
Hey guys I am located in Atlanta and I was at a local delaership looking at a 2011 Vivid black Streetglide. The bike had a 96" motor with cruise and the dealer quoted me a price of $20,624 otd with a $500 gift card and 15% off accessories for a month. The OTD included the set-up, prep and 7% sales tax. I want to know if this price is too high and if I should wait to July before purchasing to see what the 2012's will have to offer?

It's not a great deal, you are basically saving $200 under msrp when you figure in the sales tax and $500 gift card. The bike is $19k msrp so you do the math. The Street Glide is a highly sought after bike. so that may be what you have to pay to play. If you don't buy it someone else will.

That is pretty close to what you're going to get anywhere. I called Atlanta and over the phone were asking 2k premium for SG's. Every dealer I talked to had a little different spin of what they throw in....free 1000mile service, T-Shirts, mufflers, etc, etc. I've read here that folks are buying a $150 plane tickets to save $500. In the end you probably want to show loyalty to the local shop because they will be who you need to rely on for service, warranty or other issues. Cut the best deal possible with you local guy......or shop for clean used from a private party. good luck
