Default Slip ons

I just bought a 2011 ultra classic and was wondering if I was to put slip ons on the bike do I have to get the stage one kit and dyno tuned. Will it do any harm to the performance, and does it vary depending on the type of slip ons purchased.

I have slip-ons and no cat on my '11 Ultra, runs great. No tuner, no anything else.

You can put on the slipons without stage 1 and tuning.

why are so many people saying that it will run like crap? I was thinking of catless headpipe for my 11 limited but I keep reading it will run like crap.

it won't run like crap, just won't run as best as it could. stock harley's are set up very lean to pass epa requirements, a little more fuel makes them run better and cooler.

On a completely stock 2011, we recommend our slip ons with 2.25" or 2.50" baffles. No tuning required. If you are looking for performance I recommend aftermarket headpipes, slip ons with 2.00" baffles, high flow air cleaner and a properly tuned fuel management system. All that adds up quick but will definitely get you moving.
