Why am I the only one who picked the lift? The smartest thing I ever got for my bike was a bike jack...cleaning, repairing, changing the oil. Makes it all easier. But the true duals are a close second. Or the heated gear, maybe...hmmmm...too bad you can't have it all, right?
Now I'm finally starting to get excited about Christmas. My bike is so dang stock, though, the list is about a mile long.
(By the way, vampires indeed...that's funny and too true isn't it?).
Tell the kids Santa's reindeer found Santa's cider stash and can't come for Christmas this year and get all of it. [8D]
I've got 4 and 1 on the way, so our Christmas budget is 98% kids too. Get the pipes. Somebody else already mentioned that those are the big ticket item, get them out of the way and get the smaller stuff as $$ permits.
Your riding style definitely dictates priorities. Heated stuff is 1st on the list if you're a year-rounder. A bike lift/jack is indispensible for keeping it clean or storing it with the tires off the ground. Pipes are the big ticket, but do you REALLY need/want them at first? Maybe a heated seat can be put into the rugrats' list, who's kid wants a January ride without one? Diplomacy is the art of LETTING someone have it YOUR way!
