On '08s with ABS in under the left side panel just under the fuse block. On models other than SGs there is only one plug there, square and grey I think. Streetglides have two plugs under the side panel because they don't have tour packs.

After watching the install video a couple of times, it was a grey plug with a rubber plug for it, that I noticed in the video. So I gambled, and it turned out to be the only grey plug I have on the bike, so I used it. I'm impressed with gaugeface, I was looking at a heck of a lot more $ for just an engine temperature gauge. Now I can charge my iPhone, listen to my iTunes and see engine temperature as well as talk on the phone (when parked with the engine off)
A waste of $250.00.
Its a cable that you connect to a data port and it reads you engine temp and few other readings on your Iphone ........
