... who washes their bike in the rain? it's going to get wet anyways so what's the big deal?

LOL! Reminds me of my late father. He used to always wash whatever car was in the driveway during the rain saying the soft rain water wouldn't leave spots on a clean car. He was right, for the most part!

Light rain here - going out to wash mine and then dry it in the garage. Just like upstate tim said. That way when the sun does shine it's ready to ''roll'', not wash.

Weird. I've never ever thought of washing my bike in the rain but it actually sounds like a great idea! Think I'll try it next time.

Will not leave water spots and the sun wont dry up your soap before you get to rince it off.

I don't specifically wait for rain to wash my bike but at the same time I wash it in the rain if it's needed rather than wait for clear weather. sorry, should have worded it better.

ive done my bikes and my cars in the rain.. like has been said a lot less water spots when the sun isn't out !

I'll pass on washing bike in the rain,sounds like a miserable day,
besides it's usually a freakin cold rain in N.H.
