From experience, glossy painted hard bags are always easiest to clean, but the look of the leather especially if you got more leather up front can't be beat. Just like a black engine though, try to avoid getting spray wax on 'em. If you're an ironbutt, sunscreen the tops once in a while.

Any chance of you having pictures of what the latching setup looks like underneath the hard cover with the "hockey puc" **** (cop lids). I've a 92 with the latch in back and the stupid HD setup in the front. I need to change this!
