Hi hrchdog
Workshop Manager was impressed with the Fuelmoto headpipe, 1st one he'd seen here in Australia, said he could of tuned more for peak numbers but its not a race bike so was tuned to run sweet on the street, picking it up today he said i'll have trouble keeping grin off my face once i'm ridding it
Regards
Big Pete

It sure does. That's a big boost.

I will get my RKC dyno tuned at 1K. Will post dyno sheet after. really like the way the bike runs with the 255 cams though.

Well I picked my bike up today and WOW what a difference, he was right i'm still grinning, the torque feels great it just rolls on effortlessly, can't wait for the weekend to go ridding all day on roads i've ridden before for years to compare it even more
Hopefully will try to get dyno print out scanned at mates or i'll buy a scanner as i do need one and try to post it on here
I don't have a before printout as bike was taken to dealer to fix what turned out to be a front cam out by one tooth as fitted by indy so once they fixed that they ran on dyno with the base map i had flashed to ECM then tuned it from there so thats all that shows on graph to compare

Regards

So Pete what are your impressions after riding it for the weekend? What about dyno sheet?

RoadRiderRick is correct, no reason to be bound to SE cams since it's up to HD to prove your non-HD cams caused the failure before they can refuse to honor the warranty. I use the S&S 570G cam, offers ideal power range for touring, and with Henderson-ported SE Hi-Performance heads enjoy 100.6 HP off of 95" SE forged pistons.

Well finally got to put some more miles on my bike and the more i ride it the more it impresses me, its just goes so much easier off the line feels like its doing it with less effort and gets there quicker, so much better in the hills rolling throttle on and off corner to corner, cruises on the highway no problems at all and passes other vehicles so much easier, its a real joy to ride, not that it wasn't before, i'm glad i picked these cams they suit the bike me better then i expected, he's a shot of the dyno print out i ended taking pic with phone

Regards
Big Pete

Got the 254e installed in mine!

Power increase is good, not mind blowing.
It's very noticable when you're cruising @ about 65-70 and open it up in 6th.
The bike goes effortless up to 100 quite fast, with the biggest pull up to 90.
So I guess the biggest increase comes in the range from 3000-4000 rpm

One thing I also noticed was the quiet run of the valves. With the original valves the ticking was more than present (change done @ 4000 miles)
Now there's no ticking at all, just smooth and quiet.....as far as you can define quiet with the dresser duals and twin slash ovals....

Fuel economy dropped, did not calculate how much since i've only filled up twice since the cam change. Guess it will be making 35-50 miles less on a full tank.

I'm happy with them!
