I want to add on a Auxilary Brake Light / Running Light / Turn signal conversion kit to my 09 Road King. The bike has cruise control. The Harley part #69461-06B seems to be what I am looking for, but their fit description doesn't seem to include the FLHR. Has anyone converted theirs using the Harley kit or do I need to run to Kuryakin or elsewhere?
I'm not sure about the part#, but I just took the kit off my 09 FLHR when I went all LED. I'll sell you my old one. It includes the module and the two red pancake style blinker lenses. PM me if interested. I was about to post in classified section so let me know if you want it or not.
Or you could just go to LED Pancakes and you will have run/turn/brake functionality. Less than $100 from an online dealer (Zanottis, etc...). They are easy to install, plug-n-play.
I've had the Harley version on other bikes but prefer the Cyclevisions because it flashes 3 times and then stays on when the brakes are used. You will need to replace your turn signal lenses with red lenses. Cyclevisions carries the red lenses or you can get them off Ebay.
