Leaking rear shock on FLHTCU

Leaking rear shock on FLHTCU
I have a 2010 Ultra with 12,175 miles...just developed oil leak from the bottom of the left rear shock boot. Going to call dealer in morning to get shock replaced under warranty. How long does it take to change a rear shock? Something I could wait at the dealer for? Also, can I ride it other than the trip to the shop or should I just let her sit until my appointment and then ride it straight there?

Had the same thing happen to my 2010 Road King @ about 2000mls. Dealer repaired it under warranty but had my bike for 2 weeks. Claimed he had to send the shock to HD for warranty approval and wait for them to send a new one (Bunch of Bull) I have replaced shocks myself . Takes about 20 minutes. Good Look
