I have been looking at bars for my 2007 Road King, I have noticed alot of companies stop at 2006 and start again at 2008. Is there something special about the 2007 that I do not know? Is there something special in the wiring, throttle, clutch, brake lines, etc.? What size cable for the 16s?
Please help me figure this one out.

Reason: Adding to the title
I never noticed that.
I put some tattoo'd bars on my King and never gave the year a second thought. They looked like they would fit the mount so I got them.
Try having an 01 and finding something you want and are comfortable with. Guess I will end up with Wild Ones but already have chromite cables so that is going to add to the cost by close to 200 bucks overall.
