You say "small" but it sounds like you took out the plug where an oild cooler goes into. I think thats what it is for. Did it face forward on the bottom of your scoot?

Just went out and looked under my scoot and I see the plug you are referring too on the bottom of the actual part of the cases where the crank resides. Not sure what it is there for but thats not the oil drain plug.

that is the oil plug for the crank case. It is not intended to be removed. if you do a search on oil sumping this is the plug that gets removed to check to see how much oil is in the crankcase. Put it back but be carefull not to over tighten as you do not want to crack your case.

You definitely need to buy a service manual for that nice ride...it could save you big money in the long run.

you are good. if a lot of oil came out you would have problems.

I believe (not positive!!) that the screw you removed is also the one you remove to put in an HD or other oil temperature guage.
I would change the oil or at a minimum, keep a close eye on your main oil level.

no wrong plug for that. why change oil he all ready said he changed the fluids? all he did was drain a few ounces of oil it will not effect anything.
