Default Flare windshield sizing question

I have a 2011 street glide and need to get rid of that stock windshield and want to get a Klock Werks style shield.... Im 6'4... what height would you guys recommend? the 6.5 or 8.5?? Also does that style windshield help with stereo sound? Being so tall i get alot of wind in my ears

I'm 5'10" and find that the 8.5" Klock Werks is just perfect for me. I look over it by a couple of inches and the flare moves wind around and over my helmet with no buffeting at all. I can hear the stereo on the expressway, but the stock speakers lose a lot of fidelity with the open cockpit and road noise. I think that's not a function of the windshield though. Sounds like the next size taller than mine might be perfect for you.
