I purchased a used 09 ultra classic with Ness big sucker, pcv, and supertrapp se slip on's. I have strong gas smell when I shut down the bike. Do I need a new map, and if so, can anyone help. Bike runs well other than that. I get approx 38 mpg.

 

I would leave it alone....a richer mixture by far is better than a lean mixture. If you get it remapped...they will put it into 14.7:1 heat mode.

 

There was a thread a while back about this,it's actually normal.My 05 rk does the same thing it stink's up the garage after parking.If you check behind the left side cover there is a vent tube from the tank that end's inside the frame.
If your 09 has the same design check that area for smell after your next ride,that's what I did and then I did'nt worry about it.
