wish somebody would come out with a sub that sounds good and dosent need a tour pack. music just dosent sound as good without a sub. i want to change the speakers in mine but i dont feel like dropping the cash. i would proab give j and m a try. i have been happy with their products. i just dont like the idea of the tweaters replacing the oil pressue gauge and battery gauge.

An Amp and speakers is a must, then how deep is your wallet?
Many in here went with 6.5 speakers in the fairing, and had to get adapters for the speakers.
There are many Amps to choose from, speakers too!
GLACIERPEARL, AND ULTRANUTZ seem to have the handle on radio performance in this Forum.
Depends on what you want, if your a novice, give a quick shout to either one of these guys, tell them how much money you want to spend, they won't steer you wrong!

Have you looked at JL? I have a buddy who is installing a sub in his tourpack as we speak, I'll let you know.

The hogtunes amp and replacement speakers have been awesome. Great volume and sound. If you go with lowers and their 7 inch woofers, you really have a setup! Just my 02 cents.

I just installed a Fosgate PBR300x2 and Infinity Kappa 6.5 speakers with the adapter rings. Sounds ice and wont break the bank if you buy the amp and rings off eBay.

no need to spend 100's on speakers when you can get Rockford Fosgate's P165 6.5 inch 55 watt 110 watt max for $50 on ebay and the speaker adapters for $15.. and add the amp if you want big boom or go with replacing the stock head w an aftermarket or both head unit and amp..
