Question best sound system for street glide

Just bought a 2009 steet glide. Dream ride but radio a little weak. What is the best way to beef up the sound? HD?

Get 2 j and m rockker speakers. 7'25 's. If your 6 foot tall get a 8 inch windshield. Makes a big difference at highway speeds.

I just installed the J&M Rokker's and they are awesome. You could either do the 250 or 500 watt amp. It would just depend on if you were going to add any lower fairing speakers. They don't have a ton of bass, but the sound is unbelievable.

Save your money, get an Ipod and put a set of Bose ear buds on it. Great sound! After all it's your music for you to listen to isn't it. Serves as ear plugs too!

I just installed an Arc Audio MPAK 5 on my 07' and I have been very happy.
$535 delivered in 2 days, customer service was friendly and responsive answering a couple of questions that I had.Comes with an amp,6.5 speakers and crossover units and 2 tweeters.
Very strong upgrade over stock at a great price I feel.I can now hear as clearly as you can at high speeds and around town the sound is fantastic.
Pros-low THD and great value, adjustability to fine tune the sound.
Cons-instructions aren't the clearest and they recommend disabling the Auto Volume Control of the stock unit-not so cool.
Overall I am very satisfied.
Wife thought it was a ridiculous purchase until we were cruising-then she was totally on my side.
Definitely spend the extra 40 bux and get the tweeter and crossovers-Huge difference.
If you get one I will send you a few pointers-let me know.

I installed some J&M 5.25 speakers and feel I would have been happier with either the Boom! H-D speakers or the Hogtunes speakers. Today I installed the Hogtunes amp, and it really woke the speakers up. I'm much happier with the speakers now, but likely will replace them with Hogtunes and/or HD Boom! audio speakers. The Hogtunes tweeter pod also does wonders.
