Same here! Set it to my comfort and forget it!

HELP PLEASE! I bought an adjustable backrest bracket off eBay for my 2002 Ultra. Being it is used did not come with any instructions or hardware. I know normally on HDs web site they have instructions for most their products but not the adjustable rider backrest. Main thing I need to know is where and how the lever mounts. Does any one have the instructions showing this? A scan or PDF file? I picked up the mount, cable and lever for under $90 shipped.
Thanks!

I have the Non adjustable (picked it up here in the classified for just over half price) and do not see what all the commotion is? If you set up the bracket to your liking to begin with you will be fine. Just did a 1300 mile trip 2 weeks ago and could not be happier and darn glad I didn't spend the extra coin for the adjustable when this one won't even be on the bike half the time anyway.

Go with the adjustable and you'll be a happy camper.

Adjustable one here! As far as backrest goes - match the seat, or not.

I"ll agree with "Z-28" it should have made to adjust to a lower position. I too have the gas charged adj. backrest. Very easy to pop in and out when just doing the town.

I have the standard one and love it. Keeps me from my bad habit of sitting incorrectly after a long ride.

I have the adjustable and love it. You can't go wrong. If you do, you can sell it on here in classifieds.
