I had 12"s on my Fatboy of 10yrs. I wished I'd a had 14"s. So... when I bought my RoadKing, I was wanting 14"s....but, decided I better get 16"s to be safe. Was definitely the right decision. Couldnt be happier.

Thw Santees are very nice, come with wire installed to pull your wiring through, very good finish, no problems at all, and I love them being 1 1/4" necked down to 1" for the controls and clamps, very sturdy

I was going to go with 14's but after reading all the treads about going bigger I decided to go with 16's.

different strokes for different folks is probably why. A co-worker has 14 inch bars on his flhx and he is about 5-8 he said I should get the 16 too cause Im taller than he is and it would more than likely be a better fit for me.

I like the feel of the 14's. haven't tried a bike with 16s yet, but I like the look of the 12s but will more than likely get the 14's.

The 16's fit me perfect. Hands are at shoulder height and could not be any more comfortable. No more pain in the shoulders or lower back. Believe it or not they make me sit up straight making me very comfortable.

Interesting as I run 12's on my FXR and like the slight downward angle from the shoulder
