Another "Windsplitter" thread...
It sure is a great looking windshield, and I'm glad to hear that it manages wind so well. I have the Klock Werks, and although it is very effective, I don't think it has the great appearance that the Windsplitter has. Might try that someday...
I was hearing all kinds of new noises on the ride into work this morning. That means the windshield has cut down on the wind noise enough for me to hear things I hadn't heard before.
Somewhere, something is "jangling" around. Probably something in my saddlebags, but it sounds like keys jangling. LOL
I love this windshield and have no intentions of trying any others. This is perfect for me.

Just tried a splitter on my SG, ( stock seat, I'm 5'9" )...cut the buffeting at 60mph + in half I'd say, put my feet up on the crash bars about where the deflectors would mount and the air cleaned right up... so am going to try them next.
you look through the windshield at night or daytime?
How does it work in the rain. I realize some of you don't have to ride in the rain. Some of us unfortunates have to from time to time. Does it protect you from getting to wet. Seems like it might be a bit to low in height to do that. Any comments?
The windsplitter doesn't stop the rain, I can attest to that. All relative to where the top of the shield is compared to your face I guess. And the direction of the wind/Rain.
To be Honest, on long trips I carry my windsplitter and a taller shield with me. Windsplitter for 99% of the trip, if the rain starts I pull out a 10" flat shield that fits in the saddlebag. Hate the looks and the feel of the bike with it on but keeps the rain off of my face. Windsplitter definitely adds downforce to the nose of the bike at highway speeds. Especially interstate going 80.

The only time the batwing/windshield blocks my view is when I'm parking and trying to ease up on a curb or something. It only blocks maybe 3 feet in front of you down on the ground, if that makes sense.
