Slip-on end caps?

Slip-on end caps?
I presently have a set 2011 CVO Street Glide slip-ons on my 09 cat-less Classic,and I'm not happy with the sound,or lack of.So now I'm looking at the HD SE Street Performance Mufflers,part # 80732-09.The P&A book says these slip-ons are for 2010 and later bikes,probably has something to do with cat or no cat.I'm wondering if the end caps from the CVO Mufflers willl fit on the SEs?

MY 4" SE slip on's have their own end caps. I bought a set of unused 09 take offs and found that 09 and later SE slip on's have no cats in the muffler. The sound is deeper but not a head turner. It did run better though.

I went to the dealer today and found out that the CVO end caps will fit on the SE slip-ons.But I need the adaptor that comes with the end caps that are in the P&A book.So the search continues.
