I was removing my front wheel today and my ABS sensor fell to the ground. It was broken at the base.
Is this shot?? I'm assuming yes so next question. What is the part # and where would be the cheapest place to buy one?
Thanks ......
Your local dealer is where to get it. If you don't care about waiting, have them give you a quote on it (so you get the part number) then order from one of the online dealers.
To me it's not worth the hassle to do all that and be down a week or two (or worse) waiting for a part your dealer could have had in three days, if they don't already have it in stock. I bet you wouldn't save more than $10-$15 once you include shipping...
Yep, the abs light has been on for bout a week now. This was the 1st chance to look at it. I could use the sensor as a spacer and ride with regular brakes. I'll call HD tomorrow for quote.
