Default Unknown plug

My xm signal went out suddenly. Opened up fairing and antenna line looks fine. Upon inspection, I saw this mini plug sitting by itself with no female end in sight. Anyone know where it goes?

I know as much about Photoshop as I do bike maintenance. Just enough to get me in trouble. LOL

That's a 3.5mm stereo jack. It's used for audio signal input.

Sorry. Double post. Don't know how that happened.

XM signal went out. Actually found a pinch in the antenna lead. As to the jack, it's a stereo mini plug hard wired to some type of flat device. I'm thinking it has to do with the alarm as the device has a blinking led on the underside. Just curious at this point.
