I have put numeras progressive upgrades to previous bikes I have owned and they were nothing short of a good value. Thats what will replace my air on the ultra.

I have an 05 Ultra with just about 42,000 miles on it. I was thinking it had to be the roads getting worse based on how much I was trying to avoid bumps, and manhole covers etc... with the factory shocks still on the bike. I did some research and finally pulled the trigger on the 940's and put them on this past Monday. I ride the same way to work each day it's not raining and it's like a new road! I am simply AMAZED at the difference. So much so that I'm thinking about replacing the front shocks with their new monotube kit.
I weigh around 240 dressed in all my gear and with the shocks set three full turns up from their lowest setting it's an unbelievable difference. I'm guessing another full turn or two when my girl jumps on this weekend.

I went with Ohlins #6's for my SG. Progressive 440's did not work at any setting.

The shocks are 12" they are the hd shocks. My weight is about 170lbs. I'm sure they will be great once adjusted correctly. My only question is should my mechanic have ordered me Hd instead of the standard. Thanks for the help.

you need standard springs no way at 170 do you want hd and 12" are going to be rougher too.

There's the problem.

you're a good 50 lbs light for the HD.
