I just put Progressive 440 IAS shocks on my 08 Street Glide. The ride is no better than stock, its like they have no travel. You hit a bump and you chip a tooth. Any tips to dialing these shocks in?

Going for higher performance components is not always the same as more cush for the tush. I had the same experience when I put them on a goldwing when progressive first came out with that series. What length shock did you put on? 12"? 11.5? Unload the shocks. My 12" 440s ride like a dream. Very controlled without bouncing, just a gel like compression and release. Much better than my 13 air shocks that came stock.

Do these things come with any instructions? Are they available on the website? In my experience shocks need setting up to suit the actual weight of the rider(s), such as sag, as already mentioned. Sounds as if you don't have enough.
